Army 1775 Flag 6" x 9" Motorcycle Flag
This United States Army motorcycle flag is equipped with a small sleeve designed to slip over a regular motorcycle flagpole and be displayed while the vehicle is being operated at normal speed. The flag is double-sided, meaning two flags are sewn together back to back so that the lettering is readable from both sides. The fabric is a knitted polyester material that has a silky, smooth feel with a slight amount of elasticity which lends greater durability against the wind vs. standard printed polyester.
The design consists of a blue replica of the War Office Seal with a red banner underneath inscribed with “United States Army” in white letters. Below the banner, in blue numerals is the date “1775” which represents the year that the Continental Army was created and General George Washington was appointed as its General.
