Thunder-Rode Motorcycle Accessories, the premier Mohave County leather goods and motorcycle accessories retail shop, was awarded the 2021 U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Commander’s Award for its donations to the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program.The Commander’s Award is presented to acknowledge the outstanding support of those whose generous contributions have enable the Marine Corps to bring the joy of Christmas and send a message of hope to America’s less fortunate children.This year, Thunder-Rode donated over seven boxes of toys for the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.

Terry Flanagan, the Mohave North U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program Coordinator presented the award to Thunder-Rode Motorcycles on Friday, December 24, 2021.The Commander’s Award is the program’s most prestigious award and is presented to businesses that go above and beyond in support of the Toys for Tots Program.The award is signed by Coordinator Terry Flanagan and Lieutenant General Commander David G. Bellon of the Marine Forces Reserve.

2021 marked Thunder-Rode’s fourth year contributing to the Toys for Tots program.Thunder-Rode supports the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program through the placement of donation boxes at their retail shop.Thunder-Rode also hosts an extremely popular December toy drive even where the shop gives away free gift certificates in exchange for toys donated to the Toys for Tots Program.
